Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. The war was a terrible time for him, and Krimp does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Krimp hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Krimp alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Hatae was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Hatae's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Mortician and was forced into it by her family; and to reunite with her absent mother

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she is content

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
