He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: She is a sleazy, sleazy gal. She has no qualms about using her powers of suggestion to get people to do what she wants. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is her passion; and retire the richest woman in the west

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. A true patriot, Solomon would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Solomon was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

History: Vani was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Cartwright for hire.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and expand her business
