History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Braak was born with his mother's beautiful face. After coming to the age of reason, Braak took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Shanairla is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her childhood dream was to be a Carter, but she was a colossal failure. She's also a talented Carter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
