Description: This malnourished man wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His red hair, when down, is lengthy. His white eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Cairn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She hates Half-Orcs with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and a strong sense of loyalty to halfling people

Description: She typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep brown leather and dull white iron scale mail. Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her kukri, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a cross on it. She has a long white ponytail with little hanging trinkets. Her brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. After a long history of fighting, Juliana and her spouse have recently divorced.

Description: An imposing woman with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right hand, she sports tan clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. She keeps her long blonde hair kept up in a rat tail. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Apothecary born in the past three hundred years. She disdains her fellow northerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Apothecary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She's also a talented Bounty Hunter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Bounty Hunter again.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ekk fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
