Personality: She is happy with her job as a Bookbinder. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. Ootah is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Gifted from a young age, Ootah studied abroad. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Merla is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Cook but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
