History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Description: She is an average looking western female in her early mid-life. She wears dull tan sweaters, loose brown pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed scythe, just in case. Her brown hair is unkempt and raggedy. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: She hates gnolls. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: The child of a Mason, who enjoyed hunting, Salanop was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and revenge

Description: This man stands a little under 4'7" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His black hair is still thick. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gray.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He has a long black beard with little hanging trinkets. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Thorpe's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born to a Baker, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Animal Trainer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.
