Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Joan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Joan was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Joan decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and wants to work out more often

Description: Standing 3'4", this woman does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. Her brown hair is greasy and uncared for. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Born in the east to a Barkeep, Ranala learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She struck the Barkeep job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: To be a Mayor again.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Tanner responsibilities is difficult; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Burto embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
