History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tieflings in Kairon's homeland. Kairon decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Keyleth was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Fortune-teller work with an outfit from a few towns over. Fortune-teller work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has achieved small success as a Fortune-teller.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Fortune-teller responsibilities is difficult.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
