Personality: She is happy with her job as a Bookbinder. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. A freak accident while working with her Ploughman mother left her crippled. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Thava never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. Kerkad is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents enrolled him in a Aristocrat school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: River was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. River was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To be a Layabout again.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Miner work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miner work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He became a Miner soon after.
