Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down. Her dark red hair is still thick. Her red eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Human compassion; and doesn't want to be a sage and was forced into it by her family

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and money/treasure

Description: 6'1" and muscular, this eastern woman wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. She usually doesn't wear a shirt. Her blue crest is heavily combed to the left. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her gold eyes.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes brigands are coming to abduct people. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He uses divination through singing.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ahvain was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and further expansion of business
