Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a club on his belt. His red hair and beard is wavy and long. His eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Eberdeb enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Eberdeb fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: This woman stands a little under 6'6" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She sports black clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. Her crest is scarlet, silky, and of moderate length. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Mijira liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greataxe.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his sai with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. With a patchy chestnut beard and wild chestnut hair. His eyes are likewise blue. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. A freak accident while working with his Healer father left him crippled. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

Description: This late middle aged woman is wearing a long, black cloak and is in decent physical shape. Her purple hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Stableman. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Stableman. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: She wants revenge against illithids; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Description: She wears a blue vest and prefers yellow and grey shirts. Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. She carries with her a set of daggers on her belt, each one with a jet on the hilt. She has dyed her greying brown hair a little too much giving a sharp brown color. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Carter arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She now mingles about in high society.
