History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. A gifted student she started as a Spice Merchant, but she got bored and became a Marshal. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Miner born in the past three hundred years. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents enrolled her in a Ranger school at a young age so that she could practice her arcane talents. She tends to her Miner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: Nyx was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
