History: Quick hails from a village terrorized by giants. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and someone believes her a fraud

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A gifted student he started as a Architect, but he got bored and became a Barber. He tends to his Barber job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he has money and likes to spend it

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 9 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Tawna never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
