History: She was born into a rich family. Dariff was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Dariff decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She tends to her Beggar job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Hadarai alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has worked as a Server like his father before him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Server responsibilities is difficult.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Roondar hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes brigands are coming to abduct people. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Vistra was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: Many brigands want her driven away.
