History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. History: Gardain was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Fulbar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dwarven companion (his 'brother'). He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
