Personality: Uthemar wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Expert, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Body Guard. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
