History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the east. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Alice was born on a far eastern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Dilettante. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.
