History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during, and is pretty ugly. Her hair is golden and curly. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Ranala's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ranala grew up listening to her father's many stories. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: Hatae hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her painting career. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Some 2 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Hatae never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
