Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born to a Bather, his father struggled to pay the bills. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: This petite short woman is perpetually holding a tea of some kind. She wears suspenders and blue workpants. Her shirt is tan, and she wears a heavy blue leather apron most of the time, marred by teas. Her moppish white hair is in a traditional bowl cut. Her eyes are green and beady.

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gifted student she started as a Scribe, but she got bored and became a Marshal. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Marshal for the past few years.
