History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. After coming to the age of reason, Lone took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Rosamund was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rosamund grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rosamund. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Born to a Engraver, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
