Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Halflings. His skin is light but he possesses many blue ritualistic tattoos. He wears a tight fitting white shirt and pants. He has a silver handlebar mustache and slicked back silver hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Miner. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Calcitro was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Calcitro was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Miner for the past few years.

Description: This slender woman stands about 5'1". She is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Layabout. Her moppish white hair is in a traditional bowl cut. Her green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Melissa is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has worked as a Layabout like her father before her.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the south; and she is greedy

Description: A 4'10" northern woman, she wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized grey coat. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Bookbinder profession.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Laborer arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Laborer. She tends to her Laborer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. A true patriot, Finellen would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions.

Description: A middle-aged man, he is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time, and is pretty ugly. His hair is short and chestnut. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carpenter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
