History: Born to a Painter, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her parents were killed by giants in a raid when she was still a young child. The giants captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Theren is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She tends to her Junk Dealer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Orcs became a terror of the countryside. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
