History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Helja was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: An older woman who wears an entirely green suit with grey socks and a vest with buckled shoes, she is not a threatening figure. Her purple hair, when down, is lengthy. Her eyes are silver and catlike.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Anakis was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. When Anakis reached her early adolescence her Tiefling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered east to less war torn lands. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and she desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his music dream.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: This man stands a little under 5'4" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. His blonde hair is lengthy. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Varis's homeland. Varis decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
