History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Courier. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: She thrives on attention. She does whatever is in her power to gain the attention of whomever she deems a fit date. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. After months of barely getting by, Phann managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Performer. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Frug embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Born to a Ruler, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
