Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Gifted from a young age, Halander studied abroad. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away; and he wants revenge against giants

Description: She is an exceptionally muscular looking eastern young adult. She is typically in her Sellsword uniform. Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. Her silver hair, when down, is lengthy. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Hlin is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born in the east to a Sellsword, Hlin learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. A gifted student she started as a Performer, but she got bored and became a Sellsword. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Sellsword for hire.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He married young, but lost his spouse to orcs. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bathin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality
