History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Burgell and his spouse have recently divorced.
