Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Thervan lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Jacoba was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She now owns her own business.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alberich grew up listening to his father's many stories. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Description: She prefers to wear flannel. She has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. Her deerstalker hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Her eyes are hazel and beady.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Merla isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. The war was a terrible time for her, and Merla does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When Merla reached her early adolescence her Halfling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
