History: He was born in the west. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

History: Aura was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Eran lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. After a long history of fighting, Eran and her spouse have recently divorced.
