History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Katherine fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Kriv's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.
