History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Miner. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her divine abilities were realized during a raid on her village. After a long history of fighting, River and her spouse have recently divorced.
