Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Shifting was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Shifting decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Dyer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Description: This woman stands a little under 4'11" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized tan coat. She has slicked back silver hair. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing dancing.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Personality: Sumnes speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She now owns her own business.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Nedda's homeland. Nedda decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
