History: Pikar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His first spouse was a Masseuse, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Baelitae has worked very hard to control her curse. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her childhood dream was to be a Sellsword, but she was a colossal failure. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. At some point she was captured by orcs and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
