History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Conrad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Conrad was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Being a Painter kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Astar grew up listening to his father's many stories. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Tiefling artifacts is his passion.
