She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. After coming to the age of reason, Shadow took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Some 9 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Shadow never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
