History: Susannah lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Soapmaker.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He now mingles about in high society.

His brown eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.
