History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the west were limited. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: Charles wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Wizard, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
