History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Galinndan was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Lorilla was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
