History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Kellen grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she wears a black shirt with thin white vertical stripes and grey pants. Her hair is black and curly. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was granted divine powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: He wears a white costume with the symbols of death on his torso. He has a long white beard with little hanging trinkets. His blue eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Ûshbaka alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Description: An imposing woman with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, she wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. Her blue hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Sailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: She comes from a rich western family. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Marigold grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Marigold. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
