History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the south were limited. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Blacksmith they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Roofer, and he later adopted a second son.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Tordrid fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barber hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She has never given up on her painting dream.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
