History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and wants to work out more often

Description: This petite short woman is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright white and blue, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, marred by beers. Her silver hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Her fierce violet eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Merla was born the youngest of three triplets. She always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.

Description: He is a pot bellied western man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His hair is white and curly. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ogg grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ogg. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac
