History: Bertram lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Guard they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Stableman, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: She was raised in a island tribe. Luthra liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Luthra fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
