Elizabeth Yorke, Female Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. She has wavy red hair. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: She is mildly Human supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.
History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Elizabeth fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Gnomish compassion.

Myev Paxton, Female Half-Orc [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep black leather and dull brown iron scale mail. Her brown hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. Her eyes are likewise hazel. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.
Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered
History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Orcs became a terror of the countryside. She has never given up on her singing dream.
Motivation: She wants to get laid; and to share knowledge with the world

Namfoodle Folkor, Male Gnome [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He is portly but not overly obese. His hair is short and blonde. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Namfoodle was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He tends to his Healer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and an old rival family wants him found
Ideals: Opinionated. Flaws: Ugly. Bonds: Job, Mentor, Family. Occupation: Healer
Voice: Spits words with contempt

Abad Weary, Male Tiefling [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He stands about 6'6" and wears light armors faded through time and improper care. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His hair is black and curly. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.
Personality: He is fixated on the number 29. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After a long history of fighting, Abad and his spouse have recently divorced.
