History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He became a Cartwright soon after.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.

Description: This woman is very fat, and likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. She has wavy brown hair. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Andraste was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Andraste decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Butcher kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Fortune-teller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She bought a sickle and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Fortune-teller and was forced into it by her family; and to end her boredom
