History: He got into the Tanner business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Weaver, but he got bored and became a Tanner. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving The war was a terrible time for her, and Lavinia does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Lavinia and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Hugolina enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Hugolina was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and wants to raise her children well

Description: He is dressed in earthy colors with a tan and white handkerchief worn on his right side. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. He keeps his long golden hair kept up in a rat tail. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Paggen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Through the years after Phann was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Phann's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
