History: Gifted from a young age, Ekemon studied abroad. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tieflings became a terror of the countryside. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is obsessed with her god.

History: She was born in a small desert village. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and she is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. A true patriot, Kaladan would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and money/treasure

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing dancing.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. She has achieved small success as a Cartwright.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and revenge
