History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Malquis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Dilettante work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dilettante work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and money/treasure
