When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Description: She wears suspenders and brown workpants. Her shirt is violet, and she wears a heavy brown leather apron most of the time. Her skin is fair and her fingers are delicate and long. Her chestnut hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. She has several tiny topaz earrings on each ear.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gunnloda embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. Her chestnut hair is greasy and uncared for. This white eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. Shava is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her first spouse was a Healer, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shava fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Herbalist who has hired her part-time. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end.

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: Shifting was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student she started as a Junk Dealer, but she got bored and became a Ruler. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
