Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Halander was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Halander's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and further expansion of business

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Brug lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and wants to raise his children well
