Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Bertram is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Bertram was born with his mother's beautiful face. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and many dire rats want him driven away

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes giants are coming to abduct people. She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She is a Lamia in disguise. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents enrolled him in a Cleric school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Detective.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He has moderate length blue hair. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A gifted student he started as a Laborer, but he got bored and became a Bricklayer. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.
