History: Cask was born with his mother's beautiful face. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Sariel was born on a far eastern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Shepherd. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gillyd grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gillyd. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.
